Loofa (bobo?) Camo "canvas" toys gone? This was the only stuffed toy that could withstand Duncan's frenzied attacks for more that a few hours. I have searched PetSmart (where I used to get them), Petco, local pet stores and the internet but can't find them anywhere. Last month I tried a red toy made from thick synthetic thread that lasted for about 1 day. He shredded the threads using his front teeth and proceed to pull out the stuffing (Look, Dad, am I a Mad Dog or an Englishman?). After a month I'm still finding the *%&$(& red threads around the house.
Mike check Ebay. I just looked and there's one up for auction, but only 4 11more hours. There's also one on Amazon.com
Does he like Kong toys? Sounds like 100% dachshund, our Duncan. Toy Destroyer Extraordinaire!
try oppertunity shop for hand knitted toys they usually withstand dachies. and you can repair them.

I bought one of those toys that are called water toys, they're stuffed and made out of parachute like material. Danni has had hers for months and besides being dirty it is still intact.
Danni is also on her 4th red puppy, not because it died, but because its predecessors were getting dirty and I'm afraid to wash them. The red puppies I bought at the dollar store in the kids' toy section. I've tried the ones in the regular pet section, but they are gone in 60 seconds. I picked red puppy mainly because they eyes are embroidered on and there is nothing she can pull off or choke on.
Buddy aka Doberman honorary Dachshund is a master killer of toys Black Kong, Hurly bones not the ball made by Hurly Buddy killed the ball quickly, Elk horn large,. Large rope under supervision only. One hard ball has been in the backyard at least 35 years one of those balls they give to lions.Eggie in backyard too one huge rope ball in back yard.They both love toys but can only have them under supervision.
A neat toy is a Flirt pole made mine bought a buggy whip tied a stuffed toy squirrel to the end of the whip.The dogs chase the toy wears them out quick,I taught them drop it & leave it so the toy does not get killed too fast. Had to use it with Patches first her hunting breed quickly kicked in,had Buddy tied up watching he quickly learned to go after it too.

Mike, Duncan's bobo's are in the mail so they should arrive soon. Sent them priority mail.
Bonnie and Sandi.....Sarge and Duggie are doing good! Getting use to having Reagan here full days now since school has started for Mom and Dad's teaching jobs. We have her Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Sarge is getting real good about letting us know when she has a dirty diaper......he sniffs the air and barks....until she gets changed!
