My newer little girl has had a mole since..., and I've been watching it. Apparently, not as closely as I thought, since Sunday night I noticed it had flattened, turned dark around the edges, and sort of looked like a shiny blister. We have an appointment tomorrow at 1:45. Since she had two litters of puppies before being spayed by her original owners, I am hoping it is not a mammary tumor! It is in her left foreleg armpit. :xfinger:
Rays & Hugs on the way from the hottest state in the USA Oklahoma.
Keeping pawsies and fingers crossed for a good outcome. They do seem to get more freckles and moles as they age ( me too actually) and Islay has more on her belly than before but nothing to worry about - we hope this is your case too.
Please let us know how you get on so we can un-cross and get back to patrolling the seafront and cooking, etc.
Rays heading out west from the City of the Parched Shoulders.

Hilde and I are adding our prayers for your sweet girl. Hope everything works out OK.
Tons of rays to your sweet girlie, Rowan.

Roberta
Thank you, everyone! She goes back tomorrow for surgery - Dr. McGraw found a second spot she didn't like. Rowan will also get her teeth cleaned while she's out, and a biopsy will be done.
I hope things go your way!
I've been through the same thing with my babys....not fun at all
Robinton had one removed last year, in about the same place as Rowan's. His came on over a three-week period, and turned black, so I had it taken off immediately. Here is a picture of Rowan's - taken with my phone.

Good luck with the surgery. That certainly isn't a beauty mark. We are rooting for you and hoping for great results.
Julia - update us when you can !!!! :comfort:
Thanks, everyone - she is fine, coming out of anesthesia, and will get to come home in a couple of hours!
Oops - belated update: the biopsies were clear, she has finished 7 days of every 12 hours meds (2), and is healing nicely. She goes back on the 15th to get those stitches out.
