Is it only OO or OH Oliver that does it. when we walk in the morning he basically gets to go where HE wants, and old dear mum follows or forges the path if the grass and ferns are higher than him.................but on about two mornings of the week I have to get up the hill fast, so I try walk on, to turn and find turnip head sitting where I left him and nothing bar going back down the hill and picking him up works......................do not say keep walking tried that I only had to walk back further, and he does the face looking everywhere....."you speaking to me" or the "talk to the other end it might be listerning".
mum
OO here ............ I don't like the turnip head bit and EXCUSE me it is MY walk
Have tried to bribe him into following you a tiny bit of chicken, hot dog something he usually does not get that gives off good smells once you get him going trade a good petting in with the food then slowly wean the food off.But always give the good petting the food is just to get his mind on the right tract Good Luck.
Bless them thinking of adventures on their own.
This is the guy who probably has just ran about 4 kilometres, chased the cat, ate is cousins breakfast if they have left any.......................chased birds that land on the fence rails its just HE wants to go another way...............so if you move off the way he wants he runs .....................spoilt. He shocked me yesterday as he usually does not like going up the side of our neighbor property as it leads to a boring road......................but he ran up nothing like getting kept on you toes.

LOL well you just have to laugh at him. He runs the show and he knows it! Turnip Head...cracked me up!
ROFL-if we're not going *my* way, I'm not going, so there! He can't let his sissie have her way every once in a while-typical boy!
