The monsters like all dachies are routine driven........................so if I don't get out of the bed by 7.02 Ollie arrives on your chest and Amy stuffing her snout in your face. They have now decided that I have to open the back door, one does not use the "DOG" door. Then is breakfast Amy runs up and down the kitchen till the bowls appear, whey get their first, and that is first course. Then as I make porridge and Amy gets some to get carbs into her they get some, and she eats his as well, then toast, no butter and no white bread ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,please mum.
So we worked it out she has 4 courses. :hello2: :hello2:.
Since pancreatis its been hard to keep weight on her ....................yes she is a dachie and we had to cut down the protein for her kidneys so she has a fair bit of pasta rice and her porridge in the morning.
Amy is quite chipper this morning.................I'm not giving her the prednisalone as yesterday I went out for half a day with Fergus she piddled in the house 5 times. I had given it ot her in the morning, it was funny as I had forgotten to give it to her the prevoius night and she slept through but the two previous nights she had it at dinner time and we spent both nights up taking her out every hour.................so will speak to the vet maybe half everyother day.
My Missy first gets up on my pillow around 7:00 and sets near my head. She just sets there until she sees me move and when she knows I am awake, she thumps her tail over and over. She goes to my pillow because she knows I am the first to get up. My wife shover her back down under the covers.
If my wife is in bed alone Missy will "head butt" her until she gets up. Missy has her own pillow under the covers. She curls up with her head leaning on the pillow. Yes, she is spoiled.
Zeke also has a history pancreatitis, as does Zora, to a lesser extent, although when Zora gets it, her numbers go through the roof. Zeke has always seemed about two pounds underweight. I can't get him over 15.4 pounds no matter what I do. Zora, on the other hand, blows up a like a balloon by looking at food. I have her on a diet again as she tipped the scales at 14 pounds, about 1 pound heavier than she should be.
Patches here I will be very happy to give Zeke the couple of pounds you would like for him to have. My mom is always worried about my weight my big brother never gains any weight stays just the right weight. I get fluffy looking at food too no fair.
