My therapy dog, Bessie, is an active member of the Home Front tutoring team in a “Read to the Dog” program. She participates in a crisis response team for victims of domestic violence and helps to raise money for Seer Farms, an animal shelter that keeps pets safe when their people need to leave their homes.
