Sweet Potato Stew
4 baked or steamed large sweet potatoes
1/2 teaspoon finely grated fresh Ginger or 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 cup kefir or buttermilk,or three mashed hard boiled eggs
Remove peels & mashed the sweet potatoes.Mix in all the remaining ingredients.Store in fridge. Feed small dogs 1/2 to 1 cup,medium dogs 1-3 cups, & large dogs 3-5 cups.
Kudzu Recipe or called (kuzu root)
1 heaping Tablespoon kudzu
3 Tablespoons cold water ( may substitute chicken or beef broth for added taste'
Dissolve the kudzu in 3 tablespoons cold water.Mix with 1 cup cold water in a pot on the stove until full dissolved .Bring to a boil over medium heat ,then reduce heat to low & stir until the mixture is translucent. Allow to cool & reach a gravy like consistency. Mix a portion of this solution in meals.( 1 part Kudzu to 3 parts food) Serve fresh, do not store for later use.
Kudzu root:
For acute diarrhea try the thickening agent commonly used in China & Japan found in Health food stores, contains starch molecules that restore health to the intestine along with antioxidants that stop cramping & hyper motility ( increased muscle movement in the gut) It's a food so there is no set dosage.
