Christmas Day all the family was here.....gifts were opened by hoomans and doggitys......after all the gifts were open and paper scattered all over.....Sarge and Duggie decided that it was time for the family entertainment. They both wanted the same BoBo (no matter that they each received equal numbers of toy dog BoBo's which are the only toy that Sarge will not destroy) so they each grabbed an end....one the head and one the tail. There was tugging, grunting, groveling, front feet placed, rears in the air with back feet planted.....the tug-o-war was on for a good five minutes. Sarge pretty much planted his entire body on the floor to gain the power play. In the end, Sarge won the BoBo from Duggie. And then what does he do.....he carries it over to the blankets and drops it! These two boys haven't done this type of tug-o-war in a long time. I grabbed my camera and snapped away. Here are four pictures of them.....

And, here is a picture of Reagan in her new "Flaherty Flyer" wagon. This is a wagon that Cassie, Tyler, and Wil played with and in when they were small. Wil decided that he wanted to refurbish the wagon.....new coat of paint and new bolts, etc....all new....sanded and painted and then Dave and I got the new signage for him to put on the side of the wagon...."Flaherty Flyer". The color of the wagon is watermelon pink with black and white trim. Uncle Wil thought it would be perfect for his little niece, Reagan! He did an awesome job on it and she looks cute in her wagon. She was a bit tired last night when we took the picture so we plan to take some more when the kids return from Montana and Miss Reagan is not as tired. She just turned five months old yesterday and let me say, she was into unwrapping packages! She was also intrigued by our Christmas tree....all the lights and she found one ornament that she loved....I have a small gold Angel wind chime that she loved.....she touched the tree limb where the ornament was hanging and it made the tingling sounds.....she was hooked on it at that point. So when we took this picture, we were holding the ornament by the camera to get her to look forward and not at the tree!

Love Sarge with his butt up in the air. Reagan is a cutie. You'll get the BoBo the next time sweet Duggie.
:hello2: YAY - LOVE the pictures !!! So glad you got pics of the boys....and that they had a Christmas morning tussle !!! Loved it. And that sweetie girl......Oh my gosh.... The wagon is too cool !
Da wagon needs two Dachies to pull it......................and the Princess needs a coach.
Boo Boo's at twelve paces................but the main thing is they enjoyed it.
Good on ya, Sargey! Excellent use of all that "junk in the trunk." :thumb:
Don't worry, Duggie, you time will come!
As for dachshund power for little Reagan in her wagon, here are two ideas: This doxie under the wheelchair actually pushes her owner in the chair! They live in China. The elderly owner only weighs around 100 pounds and it was the dachshund's idea to push the wheelchair around.
The second photo reminds me of a cartoon from the 30's or 40's, except in that one, the dachshund was on the middle team and couldn't each the ground. So he just paddled along in midair while the rest of the team did all the work! Does anyone remember that clip?
Cute gift unwrapping and playtime, poor little toy. :D
