We're kind of partial to white-faced red dachsies around here, too. How old is Pokey?

Awww, I can tell by your icon/avitar that you have a sugar coated senior as well. :)
Pokey is 13 years young. We adopted him when he was 9 years, so we feel very lucky to have him in our family. How old/young is yours?
Our sugar-coated dachsie is Max, the "Senior Weiner" on this board at 16 years, 9 months as of today! Here's our old boy.

Our other senior, Rudy, passed this past June at 12 years, 10 months.
So, yes, I definitely have a very soft spot for the seniors.
Such dignified seniors! Love the "frosting" on the reds! Smoochies to them!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope Rudy is running free at the Bridge. Please give Max a great big kiss and lots of snuggles from me!
