Title: A Note To My Mommy -- From Bonnie
Post by: BonniesMom on December 16, 2011, 10:48:42 PM
CLEAN THE OVEN!!!  please.

When mommy turns on the oven, it smokes and then I get scared and shake and quiver and pant.  I hate that ol' oven.  It's dirty again and needs a BATH!

Bonnie

Yeah!  Yeah!  I'm on it, Little One.  Sunday is the day.  Poor girly really hates the oven when it is even the slightest bit stinky.

Poor Bon Bon. She needs a little yellow firemans outfit and a big hose to spray Mommy with when she turns on the smoke monster.  :angry4:
Funny, Hallie used to be afraid of the oven every time I turned it on too, she'd want out the back door and would stand outside and shake (and she wasn't one to ever shake). It must have had a strange smell being new, and here I always thought she was just terrified of my cooking...

(http://www.freesmileys.org/emoticons/emoticon-object-084.gif) (http://www.freesmileys.org/emoticons.php) I bought an inexpensive electric range with a STEAM clean oven.  LOOOOOOOOOOVE it.  All you do is pour 1 cup of water in the bottom of the oven (sealed oven floor , no heating element showing) and turn it on clean for 1/2 hour,  then just wipe clean. Love it , love it , love it.
It is so easy that I clean it every time it gets just a little spill.  I swear I have cleaned this oven more in one year than I ever cleaned an oven in my life. (http://www.freesmileys.org/emoticons/emoticon-object-084.gif) (http://www.freesmileys.org/emoticons.php)

Too funny.
Parker stands guard in front of the oven when I have a roast in it. He loves the smell. Won't leave the kitchen until after dinner is served and has received his little treat.

Dis is Bonnie again.  I'm texting you all on my new Paw Pad while papa and I take a walk.  Mommy has the oven on CLEAN and it is really smelling up the joint so papa decided to give me a little fresh air.  We can't be done for the whole six hours that the oven needs to smell better but at least I get to smell some other smells for awhile instead of the stinky ol' oven monster.

Reminds me of our dogs....they would  run and hide when I started the oven.   They knew the smoke alarm would go off soon.  :2funny:
It is too close and inline with the oven vent.  NOT a good thing.  :doah:
