Jane is starting to train Lommond to the saddle and we also had heard that Jamie used to be riden and she decided as I was the lightest for his old back.
Please note the ladder and gum boots...............Jane killed herself laughing and I just made it onto him with the ladder.............the laugh is on Jane as Lommond is another half a hand taller and she is not as fit as me............
Looks cute and very dashing do they ever gallop with people on their back ? That would be an interesting ride good thing they are usually laid back. Good Luck with the training.
Yes they can go up to trot, but we found out that Jamie due to years between shafts ( that is the shafts are always making contact with his sides, or the harness is ) is immune to heel taps to jog him up.
This is "baby" Lommond and Jane. She has been doing liberty work with him, and he is picking it up quickly...............
Sure would hate to fall from that height,use to go rent horses to ride when i was a teenager when I lived in Texas love horses have not got to ride in years & years here in Tulsa I think they just have like a trail ride.Where you just walk single file around the pasture.
That looks like so much fun! They are huge! You look great on him there and they look so sweet. What is the trot like I'm guessing somewhat rough with their size?
