Title: Whole Foods recipe for Dog treats
Post by: Marcia from MI on December 14, 2011, 01:41:19 AM
Whole Foods posted this to their website, sounds good.   Going to try to substitute rice or soy flour for the wheat and see what happens.

Marcia, you can make your own oatmeal flour too if you want. Its super easy. I learned the trick when I was making Porky's food.  Take some oats either instant or not (doesn't matter) put the desired amount of oats in a food processor or blender, and grind it up until it reaches a flour-like consistency.  That's it!   Thanks for sharing this recipe, Porky needs some homemade Christmas treats since he can't do rawhides, pig ears, or anything hard like that anymore.    :thumb:
