I just wanted to take the time and Wish ALL My American Friends
A VERY HAPPY TURKEY DAY!
GOBBLE GOBBBLE
Thanks Janet--My family is coming in.
Thanks, Janet. I"m just checking the board before we leave for the DH's grandmothers house. The first time in over 10 years I haven't cooked on Thanksgiving! :headbang:
I'm taking everyone out to a hotel to eat, they have a big veriety that I could possible not even make, plus I will enjoy my family more, since I have to work in the morn. My daughter and her husband are in the Air Force so I don't see them a lot. My son is also coming in from Tucson Az. both children live in Tucson.
Thank you Janet and the same to all..
Thank you Janet!!! I know today is not the Canadian Thanksgiving, but same to you anyway.
I am cooking a turkey breast for DH and myself, with two little furry helpers underfoot... and cleaning house since his parents and my mom are driving from Missouri to visit us (they will arrive late tomorrow).
Thank you Janet!! How sweet of you to remember your USA friend today :) Sorry you have to work today...I'll make sure to eat some turkey for ya :thumb:

Happy Turkey day from Hallie and me too! This is my first year ever with no family left to go to Thanksgiving with (except my Hallie O'Malley of course! )so Hallie and I are sitting here sharing a slice of frozen pizza. :thumb:
Happy Turkey day to you and yours from Me and the furkids! They had Turkey for the 1st time! Fritzie our doxie loved it! He wasn't movin from the floor by the counter till he made sure there was no more from the humans and the floor was licked clean. Of course we discovered he will eat anything, while the white kid will only eat white meat! Too Funny!
Well, to all of you that cooked....bless you :apls:. I took the easy way out and took everyone to a hotel for Thanksgiving dinner-I'm stuffed but had a good time. I was able to enjoy the family more that way and I'm able to visit with them no cleaning up no deboning the turkey. i have to work at 6 in the morn so this was realy nice.
I think that was a very smart thing to do !!!!! As I was driving my turkey over to my brothers house, and passed the Lubys and noticed they were open....I thought - wow - that is the way to go !!!!!
I started going out when my daughter came home for Thanksgiving from the Air Force and I noticed everyone was visiting with her except me, I was cooking, cleaning putting food away and i realy got irritated. I told hubby from now on we are going out to eat. It is realy nice. I have realy enjoyed my Thanksgiving since then.
