Title: Well mum sighs another sigh of relief................
Post by: Roberta on November 28, 2011, 07:25:25 PM
 I'z had been tooken to da vet about 10 days ago as I wuz all allergic. Also my throat was red, so Auntie Jane  da vet put me on  Telfast for 5 days and if no better mum was to come and collect antibiotics, as I've had frot infections before. Well I had finally got rid of ALLLL da tablets and on Sat mum noticed I had a lump near my big back toffy, she watched it and phoned the emerg vet on Sun who said to give me some pregnisalone and come in an mon and they may have to get a biopsy. Wez I got NO breakfast yesterday, I kept staring and following mum, like have'nt you forgot something....................then I got to goforaride...........da vets. Auntie Jane thought it could be a infected salavary gland or grass seed, so I got MORE heavy duty antibiotics............geshhhhhhhhhh I'll rattle. I was to be brought back ifffffffffff it got bigger and they would have to go look see, but Auntie wanted to wait see for a few days. Mum was still uptight, and told dad she was not going to be happy till da lump went down. Den   da lump got bigger, so mum left a message for Vet to ring back this morning.
BUT, while talking to my real Auntie Janie, Amy was sniffing my lump and mum bent down and Iz had pushed the grass seed all by myself. mum was about to call  Auntie jane  da vet when she called and was pleased as she was about to say she was to bring me in and they would have to have a look................
So I got it washed and kissed and Amy got patted for being a clever girlie.
So I am banned from long grass till after the big mower comes.

mum here, I thought as it was not attached to the gum that we might have had a problem............probably got it doing roll pushies after walks. We've to keep the antibiotics going just to make sure. But Amy was real clever as she had been sniffing it for a while.

Geeezwheez! What a relief to read it was a grass seed, and good timing to the pups to avoid another trip to the vet. Bet Mum needs a good nights sleep after all that. And the worst part is...having to miss your brekkie!

So glad it's ok now Ollie! Good girl to wee Amy.  :thumb:
