for Cassie's kindergarten classroom. Cassie starts tomorrow with her half-time teaching position. She spent the weekend getting her room ready and set up. One of the things that she needed/wanted was a reading area blanket/pillows for the small reading area that she has set up for quiet time reading or listening to books on tape. So, on Saturday, I went to the school while she was there to see the area and get the measurements of what size blanket/quilt was needed. The finished size of the blanket is 45 inches x 62 inches and then there are four big pillows and four small pillows which will be leaning against the wall. She wanted bright and colorful....think I accomplished that! On Sunday, I went to the fabric store and found the fabric and today, I spent most of the day cutting and sewing the blanket and pillows.....here they are finished! I'll give them to her tomorrow morning when I pick up Reagan.

Oh, Cassie, and the kids, are going to love the blanket and pillows. I love the colors. The fabric is perfect! I'm so glad we get to watch Reagan grow up. This is going to be fun!!
