Skunk Information from the Sunday National Geographic Show:
To de- skunk a item or help with the deodorizing
1-bottle 3 % peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tablespoon dish washing liquid soap like Dawn
Mix well in a bucket outside apply to dog or what ever you are trying to get the smell out of do not get into eyes let soak for about 15-20 minutes rinse well. If needed try it again. A professor on the show about skunks came up with this formula.(You cannot store this must be made fresh each time it will blow up if you if poured into a bottle like to save any left overs throw any left overs out make fresh each time needed.)
To get skunks away from your house or out from under your house ,porch or around your house. He said to play loud Base music facing towards the ground play it at dusk they do not like loud base music???

:grin: thank the Lord, it would take them years to dig to where this could be a problem. But maybe should try it with fox pooooooooooooo, I'm naming no names.....but the wee girlie knows who I'm talking about.

My neighbor across the street use to run classes at Oxley Nature center she told me Fox have a strong odor almost like skunk ?
