Title: A under the couch Dashie
Post by: papbouv on August 28, 2011, 10:17:14 PM
When my sister-in-law was visiting her mother we would go over and visit my MIL Patches always goes in the crate when we are gone  & Buddy is loose in the house. Now that my sister-in-law went back to Neb we are home 98% of the time we both had Dr's appointments on the same day Patches goes under the couch did not want to come out. The brat I always give treats when I leave Patches gets her when she goes in the crate. I will get on my knees if I have too but it really hurts my Total knee so not a happy camper if I have to go under the couch to get her then I usually can only reach a tail or paw to drag her out which I do not like to do.Any one have any ideas anyone have this problem ? Treats and coaxing normally get mine out...... maybe have something VERY enticing reserved for under the couch episodes?

I've got an under the bed dachsie.  Millie likes to play keep away under there whenever I'm going to do something she doesn't like.  When she was due to have the puppies, my dad built an "underbed blocker" for me, so she couldn't get under there to have her babies.  I kind of wish I'd kept it up there permanently.   :2funny:
