Title: Anyone else do this
Post by: Roberta on August 22, 2011, 09:56:35 PM
When we get home be 5 mins or hours Oliver has always either collects a toy and run with it, or he drags all the balnkies out their bed that they have near the window, so you end up with blankies everywhere.   So poor Amy is either denuded of blankies or he plain bonks her out the way.

Too funny - when mine get excited - they grab blankies and shake, shake, shake...except for Toby - he DOES grab one and carry it around !!!  Ru and Bran don't do the blankie grab - but Holly, Mary, and Toby do !!!  Wonder if it is a Red Dog thing in my house?  :2funny:

Millie grabs the kitchen area rugs when I get home from work, and drags them into the living room.  She abandons them there, and shows no further interest in them.  I've always though it was a bizarre behavior.

Schatzi grabs anything that may be on the floor close to her, sometimes it may be a sock! If there is nothing nearby, she will run to her food bowl, grab a mouthful of food, and run to her bed, or ours, to eat it!

At our house it's the throw rugs. Most of the time it's either Blusky or my sister's dog Fritz shaking them and messing them up.Most of the time when we're home and watching them. :thumb:

Sophie, a red one, does a welcome dance with what's left of the plush Hippo that she arrived with 10+ years ago.  There is shaking, prancing, parading, and eventually we play tug where her strength overpowers mine every time, and is cause for a small rejoicing dance.  Eventually, she'll drop Hippo and come to be picked up.  It is a wonderful thing, and what a welcome!
