The meat thermometer caught fire in my oven. :crazyeyes: whuh? SRSLY? The wire connecting to the read out gizmo melted to the metal. FAIL
(DeeDee a meat thermometer is a thermometer for C-O-O-K-I-N-G.)

How does that happen?? A thermometer combusts? Makes me feel better about the crap that happens to me in the kitchen. :grin:
You might want to think about carrying a fire extinguisher on your person... :thumb:
