Hi all -- it's been a whirlwind of a week and still going that way. We've had many hours and trips to the hospital to see our first Grandbaby Girl, Reagan and her Momma, Cassie and Daddy, Sean. Reagan is still in the NICU and we hope that she will be out soon so we can hold and love her. Momma is also still in the hospital and Daddy has remained by their side. As Grandparents, we have been given access to visit Reagan in ICU which is wonderful but with all the IVs and such, it's more of looking than holding. Momma and Daddy are holding her and feeding, changing her and giving her loves. Reagan is improving each day and we pray each day, that her improvement is such that she can be moved from ICU so that in addition to Momma and Daddy giving her love and snuggles, Grandma and Grandpa can also give her love and snuggles. Here are a few pictures that either Sean, I or the nurses have taken of Reagan. We always make sure that a camera goes back with one of us! There is a picture of Dave, Daddy Sean, and Reagan. Sean was allowed to bring Reagan out for a few moments after she was born so as Sean stood next to Dave with Reagan, I snapped the pic quickly. The other pictures are of Reagan, Cassie and Sean. I'm so looking forward to be able to hold Reagan and at that point in time, I'll post a picture of Reagan and I! Reagan, when awake, is alert and eyes open, looking around. She is a beautiful little girl.

What a beautiful family. Congrats, you guys!
No oxygen tubes-always a good sign. I would bet that as soon as she is eating good and gets past any jaundice issues she will be in your arms and the spoiling will begin in earnest.
