How did I almost forget that TODAY is my Rudy's Gotcha Day???
Rudy came home with us on 11/22/99. I often tell him he'll always be my "first-born" and I love him dearly. My Moody Roo is quite the character and our family just would not be the same without him.
It is hard to believe that at this time 6 years ago I was sitting on the floor playing with 2 little red pups and letting one steal my heart forever. Now his face is gray and his moods are moodier at times, but yet I see the same special something I saw in those eyes when he was just a little pup.

Eddie here - looks like we both landed in the happiest place on earth cuz I came to live in my forever home 10 years ago today. My never momma sent me to stay wif her friend while she took a trip to CA, but my momma decided to stay and didn't want me anymore so her friend called AWS where my forever momma worked and said I needed a new home. So on the day before Turkey Day 1995 I came to live wif Momma Marcia, Sully Angel and two kitties and I'm still here.
Marcia here - Eddie was just suppose to stay at my house as a foster until Friday when someone was to adopt him. However, by the time I picked him up and took him home he had wormed his way into my heart and as they say the rest is history. Eddie also gave me my first dachsie heart attack that night by crawling under the fence and sitting in the middle of the street while it snowed. If it hadn't been for Sully Angel running to the front window and staring outside I would not have known about the great escape.
Krista I know how you feel about time passing I can see grey on Eddie, but he will always be my first furkid and I will love him forever.

Thanks you guys. Rest assured Rudy will get some major cuddles tonight. He's been a little irritated with me spending so much time on Roscoe - gave me the cold shoulder last night and everything. We don't call him Moody Roo for nothing. :wink:
