Ollie just came in and jumped up on the recliner. He was making a funny noise and his face looked sort of funny ....... well his face looked funny because there was a bird in his mouth. I picked him up, bird and all, and took him outside. He did drop the bird but before I could find something to pick up the bird he grabbed it and ate it whole. :eeew:
Good grief ...... this little guy is going to keep me busy.
Well all I can say is at least life is not boring and hum drum............................
Roberta
ps Amy long of hair and short of legs enquires,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, what did it taste like as mum always takes it to get it away from her. and what technique you used to get it back so fast
Nooooooooooooo kissies from Ollie!!!! EWWWWW, indeed.
OMG - ewwwww is right !!!! Ollie is definately ALL BOY !!!!
They hafta go down beak first  I think he was a very good boy to offer it to you first.
Now a question ........ Do we count that as supper? or does he still get dog food tonight ?
I was really hoping that he would upchuck the bird, but not yet.
Zuzu says: "Birdies that you caught yerself do not count as supper."
Bonnie sez: Birdies that are caught on the fly are only appetizers. Doglets still need suppah.
Oooh and I'll bet he figured you were so proud of him! You'll have to add "bird breath" to the end of his name. :thumb:
Well, all I can say is: Good boy to drop it the first time! At this dachsie retreat, Mom says anything THAT large counts as dinner! :eeew:
The score is now OLIVER 2 ...... BIRDS 0
Mama was just sitting in the neighbor's yard, enjoying a glass of icetea and a friendly chat. I did my "Good Boy thing" and brought a present to her. Some of those women are just wimps ..... Mama said"'Oh it's a bird" and everybody scattered. I guess I won't be invited for tea again. :eeew: oLlIe :eeew:
He must be good at it..........and boys will be boys.............
