- he needed his rabies booster. We met two standard boys whilst waiting - an all-too-handsome e-red named Carter, and a gorgeously dappled blue named Pirate. Robinton had been very sluggish when I got home from FINALLY finishing packing up my classroom (took me all day Friday, plus 5 1/4 hours today, because I still am about 75% since my fall April 29), but he perked up at the vet's when seeing a beautiful blue pit bull, a cute little yorkie, and an adorable longhaired yorkie - and then the "cousins" walked in. Robinton always loves other pets at the vet, but like most of our babies, I guess you'd have to call him a little racist, since he notices dachshunds more! (However, Bella - Brenda's Cavalier King Charles spaniel, is his girlfriend.)
I really enjoy watching the interaction between breeds...I do think doxies are partial to....doxies !!!!
Glad Robie had an outing !
Parker is definately partial to doxies. Maybe because that's all he knew at the breeders for his first 7 months. Mind you his favorite gal is a yellow lab Amber. He hates Jack Russels and yorkies and is cautious around min pins.
Sounds like a notsobad day at the vet clinic! Very colorful bunch. Glad to hear you are off for the summer hope you have some fun plans!
That's wonderful that Robbie likes other furkids. Bonnie is rather stuck up about other furbabies but does prefer dachshunds....read....she doesn't want to challenge them. We always say that Bonnie doesn't have "friends". She has "acquaintances".
Glad you had a good day at the vets, Robinton.
Good thing something he likes more a the vet place is meeting other furbabies..
Oh, and I forgot to mention that his human girlfriend at the reception area wasn't working Monday - he really misses her fawning attention when she isn't on duty! Whenever she's there, as soon as we walk in the door, she gasps and says, "Is that my Robinton?" He wags his tail so hard, you'd think it would go flying off into space!
