She is as beautiful as ever and she doesn't look anywhere near almost 12! Love the pic you did a good job, why didn't you put a live bunny in there next to her? Just curious...

Gretchen looks very spry for her age.  We (Brekke and I) still are amazed at how she took on guardianship of Mocha when we stayed with you and Ron, along with Sorcha-Angel.

Who would have thought that such a grouch would have such a soft spot for puppies! I'm so glad you got to see her good side. Of course, these days she's actually reliable with adults - kids and other dogs (other than dachshunds), not so much. As for her looking spry ... the 2 young ones keep her that way.

I will always remember how when we were all together at DeeDee's in 2004, Gretchen went right to Dave and sat with him.....he met Gretchen's standards of being acceptable!!

You're right, Dee! I had forgotten about that. We have a picture of Dave holding her. Ilsa-Angel had a thing for him too. She was so mesmerized by him when DD, Hallie, her and I visited you. I never saw her stare at anyone like she did Dave. You got me going down memory lane now. Remember that wire doxie girl that like being Ron's hat?! I can't remember her name. Her owner's name was Jill, I think.

I do remember...in fact, we have a picture of her sitting on Ron.  I want to say that her name was Reka and she was owned by Jill.  Do you also remember when Dauber stole a slice of pizza from one of the pizza boxes?  And, I do remember Ilsa-Angel just staring at Dave while we visited.  And, Sarge was developing a crush on Ilsa-Angel!

Good thing Sarge didn't mind her mustache, huh?   I don't think any of us would have noticed her staring at Dave if he hadn't said something. Then we all got quiet while we watched her and her staring didn't stop. I think she barely blinked!  Reka!!!! That was her name! She was such a pretty girl.

Thanks, Kathleen. She actually plays with Elli. Not very often and for only a few seconds at a time ... but she plays!
