Oliver is 4 years old , a wild boar wirehair tweenie (16 lbs.) He lives is SD and is lookig for a new home.
He wil be traveling through Montana next week so I have a week to decide if I want him.
OK everybody ..... WADDAYA THINK?
The story that I have is that he was returned to the original breeder because his family was getting too busy to keep him. Supposedly fully house trained and a LOVE BUG.
He is very cute why not.
To Ruth and Oliver, :dontknow:
Maybe in the two week try out, you will come to love one another :comfort: , or find you are incompatible !
That should be time enough, :thumb: Hope you are happy with him, :meme: If you keep him.
Sincerely PaddiPenni's Mom Beryl :walk2:
Too busy to keep him? Methinks that's family: -10 Ruth +1! :headbang:
 what a handsome photogenic little man.........................we will have OH OH on the board. So it looks like he has been treated like one of the family if he is traveling with them.

I'd say go for it, Ruth! He is a doll!
Who could ever be too busy for a face like that? I hope the dogapult's aim is true!

Roberta
OH OH ?
He needs you :comfort:
And he is precious !!!
It is so hard to decide without even meeting him. The family will be traveling from SD to WA and would meet me somewhere along the way ......... and they will be returning to SD in two weeks AND would take him back IF we really didn't "Fit"
Of course I knew that you would all say YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A 2 week trial is perfect !!! that you are a FIT !!!!
He's so handsome Ruth!..
two ways of looking at OH OH..............we say it when OLiver has been up to something usually trouble, we also call him O (OH) as a nickname of we now maybe will have OH OH on da board. Does that make sense............
Roberta
I think he is quite handsome. Fully housetrained sounds wonderful, but the best part is that he needs a home and you need a wirehaired doxie to love again. I say go for it. Having a two week trial period is even more perfect, but I will be very surprised if they have to pick him up on the way home!
I think he looks like such a CHARACTER !!! Has a little mischevious in those eyes
There's an offer you can't pass up! DO IT! What's there to lose. He's a cutie patootie and looks "full of it"....in a good way.
Don't even hesitate, snap him up right away! He sounds absolutely perfect and looks both extremely handsome and very healthy and well kept and the fact he is four and housebroken is a huge plus too. He has a wonderful expression and Ellie's stamp all over him....
Good luck with Oliver and his and your gain will be the loss of the family. He couldn't have a better new Mummy than you and we are quite sure his family will feel exactly the same when you all meet up. Go do it, please!
HUBBA, HUBBA, HUBBA!!!!! :love10:
He looks like one of the Smith brothers (the cough drop guys) with the full sideburns, beard and eyebrows.
What's the question? Of course, he's coming HOME!!!
Miz Ima DoraBelle :bkiss:
He looks like he is on the verge of saying something very profound...
maybe "You had me at hello."
He's got a gorgeous face and a lovely, peaceful expression. How could you pass up a no risk trial period, right?
I just have to add my 2 cents ... that face is hard to resist ... and housebroken and a lovebug .... and a 2 week trial period ... sounds like a no-brainer! Me thinks we have another Oliver in the family! What a find for both of you!
Dear Ruth,
:xfinger: it's me again... PaddiPenni, :icon_salut:
I will to play with anybody you get, and I think He looks fine! :thinik:
My Mom say's she agree's with the others " it's a win win situation' :hello2:
Lov ya. Paddi :walk2:
I wonder if the "too busy to keep him" translates into not wanting to bother with his coat since he has that gorgeous long hair!!
Too many people seem to think dogs with long hair really don't need much grooming!!

Well to me his coat looks like less care than Ellie was. And besides ..... what else do I have to do anyway?????
If all goes well, mostly weather and timing ( read that as Springtime in the Rockies and we had snow again today) I am picking him up on Sunday or Monday. My part of the trip is about 140 miles each way. Send rays for a safe trip. (and for LOVE at first sight ! )
 that you love each other immediately. He sounds so sweet.

Will be waiting on pins and needles for your return.
I'm thinking Ruth should be home with Oliver any time now.. I guess it depends on the roads and how long she visited with his family and how often he needed to stop. I really hope this works out. He is just so darn cute (well, handsome). Can't wait to find out more about him.
We are home. The little twerp just nipped me for trying to put on a leash. .................... We are both going to bed now.
