Laura,

The Hug-a-Dog harnesses are wonderful.  I got both Sarge and Duggie each one (recent posting of their blue harnessess) and they work wonderful.  I got the boys' from their Grab Bag Specials....you give them their measurements and gender of your dog....Dachshund Delights picks out the fabric.  Their costs for the Grab Bag specials are either $25 or $35 depending on the size needed.  I am very pleased with them and the price is cheaper than if you choose what you want fabric wise.  The quality of the specials are very good and I am very happy with the product.  They come quite quickly (faster than if you special order).  In fact, they had a question about my measurements and they called me to clarify which I was very impressed with.  So, with that said, to get to the Grab Bag specials, go to:  www.doxiedelight.com, then click on "Shop Online" and then click on the "Grab Bag Specials".

The boys like their harnesses and they get excited when I get them out for them to put on.....they know that means a walk or go-for-ride now.  The only thing that bugs Sarge just a little and I think in time he will adjust, is the sound of the velcro when I remove the harness from him.

Dee, I only undo the velcro from underneath and pull the harness over their heads - easier to put on and take off. DD taught me that. You might already be doing that. I just thought I'd mention it, since you said Sarge doesn't like the velcro - only one velcro to tolerate.
