Amy
To-day was a shocker thunder rain, thunderous downpours. my mum brought me some liver treats and we went out to my work room......then Amy started getting "cat on hot tin roof effect", she had gone digging in a blankie pile then got all pick me up etc........in the end gave up and went into the house where she started running a rubbing and chewing herself ph'd vet, got the maybe thunder; no she barks, ut does not usually go ballistic Oliver was sitting watching with the whats up mum look.
Got an appointment for 430pm it was then I saw some lumps on her nose, she spent the 30 mins to the vet doing digs and rubs in her crate. When I got half way stopped and looked in to the chipmunck face,..................when Jane the vet saw her her eye lids were swollen and her ear lobs and she had red between her pads, worst anephelaxisis I/ve seen. So two shots and some follow up pills she;s home................dad met us at the vets..................the vet asked if she had vomitted and I said have you ever know a dachshund to get rid of a meal................no and she did manage dinner two hours later and her dad would not let me take a picture of her..........................MUM
Oh poor baby and poor mum. Feel better soon!!!
OMG!!!!! How scary so what happened? Was it from the liver treats? Those 2 really do keep you alert don't they. Is she all better now?
So how does your bench look at the vet clinic with your name on it?
Oh my! Hope all is better today! We'll send rays your way! Is your seat at the vet's office, padded, for comfort?
