I have been following this since the beginning-and I am wondering how the fur angels are doing.
Koby and Tiff are great! They have settled in and we have become accustomed to their schedule. Sgt and Libby treat them as if they were together longer than they have been. Only thing is when Koby is either laying on mama's lap in the chair, or sleeping in the big bed and I walk out of the room for a few minutes and come back in, he will bark as if I am a stranger. He seems to only do it with me and not Julie or the girls. We are starting to think it is my uniform that he is barking at.
Tiff is a cuddle slug. She likes to lay with mama or me in the recliner. No accidents and they have been acting like how doxies do. They have started playing with toys more that what was said.
Having a great time with them. Julie is having a hard time deciding if we are going to put them up for adoption or if we will become their forever home.
Welllll......WE think they have already found their forever home
Licks,
Rudy and Brandy
Just my 2 cents.......if you CAN HANDLE them and have the resources and the space (might need a King Size bed ) I say GO FOR IT!!! It'd be a shame if they got into another foul situation.
I'm sure you will do your best for them but you know we are all hoping and praying they are already "home".
I hope the gf knows what wonderful little dogs they are and how well they have been behaving. This is the best story!!! Makes me smile to think of them with you and away from where they were...
Good to hear they are adjusting so well. I wonder what the deal was with the so-called not being housebroken? Wow! That's fantastic that you're thinking about keeping them. Either way, you have saved them from a pretty awful situation. Keep us posted. It's nice to hear their progress.
I read about these 2 little guys when I was a lurker and just wanted to say what wonderful people took them in and are careing for them. I could not believe that they were crated as many hours as they did. i'm glad they are with a loving family now.
Eric and Julie - thanks for updating us and doing all have done for these babies. I know they are now getting the love and attention they deserve. Whatever you decide, we know they'll have a great home, be it with you, or with someone else that you help find for them.
It seems that dogs really CAN sense EVIL! (emily)
Thanks for the update. I have just read their sad story and so glad to hear that they have a very happy ending. Thanks for coming to their rescue. :urock:
I'm so glad those puppers are out of that situation! I knew they could be house trained. It's the people that can't teach a dog new tricks, not the other way around.
I'm so glad you saved these two. It sounds like they're doing really well.

We're having the same trouble with Scooter. When he's in his crate in the bedroom or sometimes just in the bedroom with me and the DH comes in or leaves the room and comes back, he barks at him like he was a stranger. No uniform here so we're not sure what the deal is. If you figure it out, let me know.
