12 inches in Damascus, Maryland this morning.   We had the most snow of any community in the D.C. area.  Yay us!

It hit during evening rush hour.   We heard horror stories of 12 to 14 hour commutes.   I had the day off for a colonoscopy.   I actually think I got the better end of the deal.

:book1: AHEM . . .

As a matter of fact, yes, it is due to:

Global Warming!
[/size]

1)  The Warming causes excess moisture in the atmosphere.

2)  The icy cold air from the Arctic swoops down and picks up the moisture from the Gulf Stream.

3)  The cold air sweeps up I-95, dumping rain, sleet and/or snow along the way.

4)  Rinse.

5)  Repeat.
