barb, the flannel would kill us here, we never get it that cold...............but if the duvet cover is to expensive I make my own as a full sheet is the approx size of a queen, and you can buy a plain one for the back and just sew them together, and buy a twin size and make you pillow cases Because I sometimes see fantastic patterns in sheets that they do not do covers with...........
