Just a quick note to let everyone know that Hilde is recovering rapidly. Other than her shaved hair, and still being a little tender on her left side where her broken ribs are, you would never know anything is wrong. We've been very busy visiting and will be back full time next week. Hope everyone has a great New Year's.

That's GREAT! Y'know, this whole trip was probably the best thing in the world for Hilde. It got her out and socialized instead of just being in the house, "thinking"-do dogs think?-about the big bad beast who attacked her. I'm soooo glad to hear she's doing so well. Hilde suffered through one of my greatest fears of taking Bonnie for a walk outside of her yard.

That is such wonderful news, we can learn a lot from our pups they can be so resiliant and just keep on with life. I agree with Sandi I think this trip was the best thing for Hilde (and you too!)
