We are gonna be stayin' home and our hooman sissies and brudders are coming for the big turkey dinner that Mom is gonna cook! Hope we score a little bit of turkey! We know that we will get some cooked chicken and rice, though! We will be eatin' about 1 pm.....afterwards everybody crashes and takes naps!! Sarge & Duggie
We are going to the beach! To sister in laws, she always gets a big crowd. My stupid stomach is on the rampage again for 2 weeks now I can't eat and Hallie's tummy is very sensitive and she has to stick to her prescription diet...so come to think of it, we might end up just watching everyone else eat and doing dishes! Hmmm...need to rethink this. But Hallie and I plan to get a bundled up freezing cold walk on the beach...
Nothing special here. I'm vegetarian and my husband does not like turkey. I'll just cook my usual. The kids will get some special treats, of course.
dis is Parker: We Canadian puppers have turkey day in October. We can not wait until November. But Momma is home tomorrow and she is making roast beast. Yum. I always gets a bit. I wub roast beast. :apls:
Mom is going to her auntie's house with Auntie Brenda. We will get some turkey out of the situation, but since Rowan (the Ro-Ro) is on crate rest yet another week, nodog gets to go! :BangHead: Well, we will jsut have to work on Mom for the gravy stuff!
As usual I'm cooking then just found out the kids are going to DIL's brothers house and then coming here if I would have known that I would not have cooked. I was only cooking since DIL does not cook???? MIL coming over too I was invited to my sisters house could have went there.
We're sticking around town. It's a cold rainy day in Maryland. There's an inflatable place open (moonbounces, etc.) for a few hours today, so we're taking Jessica there. Then we head down to my sister's (10 minutes away) for dinner. I think the Zs are just going to hunker down today.
Tomorrow is "in law thanksgiving" and Margie's family is coming over, before we head off to Garden of Lights at Brookside Gardens.
Happy Thanksgiving ebberybudy !
Last year our Thanksgiving was dismal...then we were saved by our Auntie Andrea, and THIS year our Thanksgiving is bliss...scrambled eggies with chickie for breakfast, warm sun in our own yard, cuddly blankies and a family that loves us.
Luv,

I just got back from taking Princess Penny on her walk. We have great weather today! It's just Drew and I this year so we are actually going out to eat and if the nice weather holds for a bike ride this afternoon. My parents are out of town so we are babysitting and taking care of Penny's BFF Molly!
Randy's mom has not been doing well, so I cooked most of the meal, leaving just a few things for her (so she could feel she contributed) and we took it to her house. Meg actually went and had a Thanksgiving breakfast with my parents and my brother's family this morning while I was cooking. This evening, we stopped by my cousin's house to see my parents and aunts and uncles. We waited until after dinner since we were still stuffed from the meal this afternoon! Now, Meg and I are planning to go do a little shopping at midnight, and skip our traditional 5:00 a.m. shopping spree (I still want to go, but I think SHE is getting old!).
Schatzi scored big. I had cooked a small turkey on Saturday for Randy and I (and to practice for today) and had some left. Schatzi got to enjoy it!
