Post by: papbouv on October 15, 2010, 09:51:42 PM
Kids ( son & DIL) Samantha called said some one was knocking on there door at 9:00pm was a Process Server giving them Fore closure notice on the rental house they have been in for about 2 years.Really COLD of the Land Lord  they use to be friends and co workers they were all laid off at the same time about 6 months ago.The kids found an apartment instead of a house so they can keep Diesel the Ole English Bull dog he is older and quiet.Stormie is not yet a year old she is a Lab/GSD barks allot so need to find a home quickly for her.Hope they can find some thing Stormie is black so hope they do not run into black dog syndrome hard er to find a black dog a home not sure why.Its sad I had tried to talk them out of getting a second dog they both work allot of hours.I try not to butt in since they are adults.Papbouv

What a shame!  Sending good vibes that they find a home for Stormie.

Have to bite my tongue they took her to a Shelter suppose to be a No Kill Shelter but since she was not well Socialized as a puppy she most likely will be put down since if she does not pass a temperament test they will have to do something. They cannot be libel for a dog that bites no matter if they are a no kill shelter.? Do not think they can keep a dog forever not sure what they do with dogs with poor temperaments.
I hope I'm wrong and Stormie was found a wonderful home there just so many dogs needing homes, I have a rule two dogs only you get to having multiple dogs you have a pack situation and have problems sometimes. Also depends on the breeds you have now Dachshunds you can have more than one or too they gravitate as a pack, being hounds, have to be more careful with Doberman's the boys usually do not get along with each other.Besides I'm having problems with buying flea stuff for both of mine the Flea stuff & the Heart worm medications are really expensive. Of course Oklahoma has lots of mosquitoes, Fleas, & Ticks.
