Some of you may remember Lori and Benson from the old WW page. I just received this message on FB tonight:
R.I.P. SIR BENSON of FARMEADOW..5/19/98--8/10/10..we had to let Benson go to the Rainbow Bridge tonight..he got sick again off the meds..we could tell something not right w/ stomach now..not eatin..we let food allergy boy have a McD's hamburger on the way to vet..he loved it..god, I am so heartbroken, toughest thing I... had to do..now he is at a better place eating what he wants and no disc pains .. we just did not want him to be on more meds who just made more issues..he's been on tons of meds non-stop since 2006 since first paralyzed and then he fought and came back, then his butt surgery issues and 2 bad ears where never got better for even me the vet tech and our extra special meds...his cloitis, horrible liver , but he was happy trooper thru it all the lil sucker and that;s what makes it so hard...

So sad. Most of the "original" puppers from when the WW Board first started back in '98 are now all at the Bridge. I think Patti's Willy and Alex may be among the few still with us on this side of the Bridge.
Tell Lori that we are very sorry to hear about Benson.

Lori, I'm late on this. So sorry to hear about Benson's passing. I remember how he helped you through Vet Tech school. You'll have wonderful memories of your sweet little guy, in due time, after the sting of grief.
We remember him too and his Vet-tech support skills, bless him and his Mama, R.I.P. Little boy. We are so sorry for your loss Lori.
