I just got back to ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMIESSSSSSSSSS, and I've blown a radial as mum calls it. Iz had a grass seed inbetween my paddies undernefff. Mum thinks she pulled it out on Sat night, and as I'm real clever at doing these things out of hours and on Sat/sun, she called the emergency vet and he said not worth a out of hours, I wuz to get paw soaks and betadine ointment and see da vet on mon. So I'm house bound again.

mum here on Sat he was at his #%$@ best, ran round the neighbors chook run and scared the hell out of the girls, and got yelled at, ran no galloped down to the place where we go through and went into the next paddock and was about to RUN, when we got him back through the fence, half way down the hill he looked at his paw, and looked at Jane and I, looking at it it just looked like it was packed with dirt so I tooselled that out and off he ran. No problems. I worked the horses with Jane and he was in her garden sniffing down bunnies. We walked home no read I carried him up the hill just in case he had done to much. When we got home he just sat, and I though, Oh G%^
I've let him do to much, but we realised he was limping, and we looked in his Paw and there it was. He has been not to bad, but its a bit weepy and some pus so off we go ..............I'm sure they have him on the serial offenders list.
Some of those grass seeds can work there way in to bad situations maybe Epsom salt soaks to draw it out ? Hope the vet visit will not find any more of the seed in the footie and all will be well soon.
