Title: Surgery
Post by: Marcia from MI on July 07, 2010, 05:32:18 PM
Dis is Danni,

Mama had to perform reattachment surgery on Purple Baby Bat today.  Her one wing gots pulld out of its socket.  But mama fixed it, but now I have to wait until tomorrow to play wif her.

Marcia here,

Reattachment surgery was a success and the prognosis looks good, but I'm waiting until tomorrow to release the patient.  When PBB lost her wing Danni had a fit, poor baby.  She kept trying how to reunite the two parts, I'm serious, and finally picked both of them up in her mouth and gave them to me.  Since I don't sew I used some nontoxic fabric glue to put the wing back in the socket and close the incision.  Now we are sitting on the floor watching the recovery area just in cae the patient needs something.

Tris and Ivy both try to kill their toys by rolling on them. It reminds me of the croc (or alligator) death roll thing. Part croc part Dachie? Dachigators? Crochounds? Dachodiles?

Roberta,

When I was in NYC last summer I stopped by a kiosk at the Time Warner Center and looked at some hookid toys and animals made from old argyle sweaters, they were really neat, but not suitable for furkids -too expensive.

Danni's newest favorite toy is a brown garden glove given to her by my neighbor.  Danni just loves it and runs around the yard like a fool with it.  I hid her blue tennis ball in it and the little stinker got it out in 10 seconds flat.

Wilson uses the Cheeta Method to kill a stuffie toy. He clamps down on it and holds for a period of time, if it squeeks when he lets off the pressure then he clamps down again.

Ms. Lucy just digs the squeeker out right off the bat.
