Mom tooks me to the lake and I was wading out in the water. THEN!! she scooped me up and put me in really deep. (18 inches ha ha) I was swimmin' but mom says I am too fat to swim.
Les here: The little booger was having a good time on the shore and kept wading farther and farther out. I was swimming a few feet out but she wouldn't come out to me. I picked her up and GENTLY put her in the water, her feet were flying before she even hit the water. She swam about three feet. I am afraid she got some water up her snoot . :-( I think Miss Chunky Monkey will have to lose a pound or two. :thumb:
And yes, if the lake thing becomes a regular trip I will get her a flotation vest.
And do you all know what a long haired doxie looks like when they are dripping wet, then walks thru sand and then tall weeds???!!! Sorry, no pics.
Sounds fun to me and relaxing. I can just picture what ZuZu "Miss Chunky Monkey" looked like after the swim, walking through the sand and then the weeds! A fun time for Mom to clean her up!! Glald to hear that you both went swimmin.... :hello2: :hello2: :thumb: :thumb:
dis is Parker: I can swims too but I don't like swimmin. Momma makes me swims about 8 feet in da very deep end. She only makes me swim when it's very hots out. She says I needs to know how to swims in case I falls in, but I don't go near da edge so what's da big fussers. :dontknow: :dontknow:

Mom's friend was laffin' at me and said that instead of a regulation flotation device we could use a can huggie/cooler. But he gibs me cookies and lovin' so I know he is only joking.
GO Zuzu! Hallie sez she would be happy to share her life vest with you if you need one, but you musn't get it wet. It is only a fashion statement after all, longhaired girl Princesses should not get damp. Besides those extra few ounces your Mom sez you have is a flotation device too! Bet you were CUTE with wet hair, sand and weeds! :heart:
