Title: Viking Puppers start rowing; Flying Puppers from Amarillo to Pittsburgh!
Post by: Doxherding Karen on June 03, 2010, 02:17:56 AM
:meme: O.K. Puppers and hoomans, it's time to check in! :call:  If you're in Washington, Oregon or Northern California, you're under water;  :toothy2: and if you live between the Texas panhandle and Buffalo, you're gonna be under flight alert with storms and WIND!! :bolt:

So we're on DoxCon 3 right now and we don't want to go to DoxCon 2 or, heaven forbid, DoxCon 1, which means we have to deploy nuclear dachshund weaponry (don't ask, it's too awful to even THINK about!) :shocker:

The Herd is safe and sound here in Baltimore.

Sarge, Duggie and Earl checkin' in from Eastern Washington (which is normally the dry side of the state)......we've had so much rain that we think we're turnin' into ducks!  The sun is out today but the wind is blowing the clouds in so figure we'll have more rain by this afternoon........we're so tired of the rain and the fact that Mom and Dad make us go out in it to do our bizness!  But, after all this rain, we finally realized that if we run really quick from the door, across the deck and down the ramps to the gazebo, we can be where it is dry!  We is takin' advantage of the sunshine!  Normally this time of year it is dry and the temps are in the 70's.....this year, it's been rain, and more rain, winds and cold and temps in the 40's....the 50's if we're lucky.  We even had freezing temperatures last week....it was down in the 30's!

Us 'Braskans (Nebraskans) are fine too.  We've had da rain almost ebery day since... well... its been here so long we forgot how long it is!!!    :2funny:  All our ribers and creeks are at flood stage so they could spill over their banks at any moment.  Thankfully, our town is far enough from the river and most of the creeks that we should be just fine.   Glad to hear you are safe Auntie Karen!!!    :apls:

We here on the Central Coast of CA are sunshiny dry.  A little wind blown, but that keeps our temps very nice.  No rain in sight.

LOL we agree auntie Karen every doxie who gets more than an inch of rain a year needs a poopatorium.
Glad everyone who has checked in is OK. It wasn't nearly as bad as they made it sound it would be here, it rained really hard but not more so than what we usually get at times. We're loving the cool overcast weather when it's not raining though, my fav!!

Ooooh we have to avoid DoxCon1 at all costs!!! :meme: Pray for sun!
