Title: Hallie's first Novice leg
Post by: Dee Dee and Hallie on April 26, 2010, 06:42:48 PM
I finally figured out how to convert from vhs to something that would go on YouTube!  :doah:
Here is a video of Hallie's first time in the ring, earning her first novice leg. Not the most precise performance but she gets A+++ for enthusiasm!
She has earned titles since and is now officially

Hallie CD, RN, BH, CGC

Not too bad for an unregistered "pound puppy"   *I was unjustly incarcerated!*

:meme: Hallie, girl, I feel your pain!!  Da same ting happened to me!

I was mindin' my own bizness when dat mean ol' guy dat lived next to us - before we moved - said I bit him!  He called da coppers an' eberyting!!  I got put in da slammer in solitawy for TEN DAYS!  It was BERY TWAMATIZIN'!!  Auntie Karen sayz dat after 10 days in da klink, I neber figured house bweakin' again.  Silly Auntie Karen, I KNOW not to bweak da house!!

Guinness :runaway:

THEN . . . it turns out that because the neighbor was wearing twill work pants and Guinness never actually touched his skin, it wasn't considered a bite after all.  :BangHead:  But it's O.K. - all the good you do in life and ALL THE BAD you do in life all comes back to you.  And if not in this life, well, as I always told my kids, G-d has a BIG CLIPBOARD!!

Also looks like a hairless Haillie. She is as always stunning and you could not miss the gusto with which all of it was done.

Oh, that was great!   I've been thinking about trying some basic obedience again with Winston-we haven't been back since puppy classes, but he's so whip-smart, I think he'd be great at it.  Millie's on a temporary hiatus from the show ring, so it would be something else to try.    That looked like a lot of fun for Hallie-amazing focus on you throughout.  How long did it take you to get to that point with her?

I had several people ask me her breeding at the shows...LOL. I had no clue someone just threw this little girl away! I wish I did know what her and Sophie's breeding was.

Kathleen you should it is so much fun I'll bet your kids would have a ball. It took us about 2 years to get to this point, she knew the stuff a lot faster than that but we worked a lot on proofing before I took her into the ring. And I trained her slow, just 5-10 minutes a day and left her always wanting more so she wouldn't burn out. 100% positive, I never scolded her so it was all fun for her plus she is such a little ham she loves to show off.

Great enthusement tail never stops she looks very happy at all times that right there makes a huge difference.
Guess I'm really old still can't get use to the dogs staring up at the trainer one would think the dog would get a crick in their necks.
A happy obedience dog is a joy to watch, way to go Miss Halie & Mom of course.Papbouv
