As those who are my friends on Facebook know I have started a new career as a Virtual Personal Assistant or VPA. So far it has been really going good and I was thinking of eventually venturing out on my own., business name "Jill of all trades." Anyway, this morning I picked up two tasks from the same client, one of which requested that I email him and let him know that it was accepted and my name for when the contractor calls him to reaffirm the appt. I did so and a few minutes later he emailed me again asking where I lived and if I worked exclusively for my current company. I gave him very general answers and now I just received another email asking me what I charge for my free lance work and what type of office work I do.
So here's my dilemma I love the work I am doing and though I'd like to go out on my own I don't want to leave this company(they like my work), but do I let them know I was sort of being asked to work for their client, but not through them?
