DOX news (Porky Pie) has been informed of a very sad and unfortunate occurence occurring at 1200 White Way in Somewheresville, NE. *Address and town have been modified to protect the innocent* Detective Bandit has been on the case for approximately 1 month. He was first called by the owner of a certain German Shepherd mix named Jade. The owner reported that he had gotten 4 beautiful fish for his new aquarium. Each week, one fish would disappear. Fowl play was suspected.
Bandit- "No you nut; I'm not talking about chickens!!!" :BangHead:
The first fish to fall victim to these chickens...I mean perpetrators....was named Stewie. He was a very tiny, sweet goldfish who loved to swim and eat all day. He was a fish with no enemies and had not had any sour business dealings. While on the case searching for the missing Stewie, Steve, a blue fish of unknown heritage, was found to be missing. Steve was a rather robust fish and seemed very healthy. However, the bank had just forclosed on his castle. Suicide could not be ruled out, however, where was the body?! :thinik: As Bandit was searching for both sweet, loving fish, he noticed Jade staring at the tank with her mouth watering. He began to investigate her and had a 24/hour undercover agent Ivy (yes, i'm talking about sweet little pup Ivy) It was her very first unsupervised mission. The Dachshund Special Forces (DSF) was very impressed with her quick thinking and problem solving skills she used in cracking this case. She will be given a medal at a later date.
Anyway.... As Ivy observed said fish Melvin and Mervin one night, she noticed that they were fighting. The next morning poor sweet Melvin was gone. He was a lime green fish with quite the flamboyant personality. (Could this have been a hate crime?!) Based on Ivy's intelligence feeds and observations, Detective Bandit was able to conclude that Merv, a Red fish, had murdered his fellow fishymen.
When questioned about the murders, Merv broke down and confessed that he had eaten his fellow fishies. We were all shocked and horrified at this crime, but were thankful to have solved the case. Jade, the German Shepherd mix, has been cleared of all fishnapping charges and was sent home. Merv will remain in prison until his trial.
Until next time, this has been Porky Pie with DOX News.

LOL nice work Porky...love the story :thumb:
:book1: AHEM . . .
Does Mervin have adequate representation? It seems his prison sentence was rather harsh and hurriedly imposed. Was he properly Mirandized? In his native language? Was an interpreter there?
This whole rush to judgement sounds, looks, AND smells fishy to me! :thinik:
