I was sick all weekend with strep throat and Ozzy never left my side. One time, I was sitting on the floor of our bathroom weakly sorting laundry when a coughing fit hit. Ozzy was right there, in fact, putting his paws on my leg and looking at me intently. We cuddled all weekend.
Isn't it funny how they know someting is not right?
You are very fortunate to have such a sensitive dog.
Parker is my second dog. The first only needed me to fill his bowl, and quite frankly I think that all Parker cares about too. :dontknow: :dontknow:
dis is Parker: Momma, I has my priorities, but I do loves the snugglin wif you. You is good for dat and of course da food dish.
You are so right! They can tell when something is wrong. The first little dog I got in 1994 was a terrier mixed named Odie and anytime I wasn't feeling good he would get on my lap and put his 2 front paws on my shoulders and look at me in my face, as if he was wanting to comfort me. In 1994 is when I got my first Dachshie named Shadow. The 2 of them came from a private party.I had the 2 of them for about 6 years before I came across Dachshund Rescue of North America.
That's very sweet and touchy, dogs can really make a difference in our feelings whenever needed. Wish my boy Ma would become a therapy dog someday..
That is so sweet! Aren't dogs the best. Hallie is the same way when I am sick she really worries and takes good care of me (and vice versa).
It is absolutely true! They do know. What a sweet story
 What a sweet boy! He deserves some extra treats for that great job of "doctoring."
