It's been a while so thought we better post some pictures of so you don't forget what we look like.......We've been busy supervising while Mom works on her projects........Earl had his big boy surgery and know what....it hasn't slowed him down one little bit.....he is still a terror on wheels...er...four paws, but Duggie and I (Sarge) put up with him.....we just hafta to put him in his place sometimes. I (Sarge) am the King of our household so Earl picks on Duggie more than me...he knows to leave me alone unless I want to play.....In the meantime, here are some pics of what we do while Mom is working on her projects and Dad is on the computer........And, to everybody back east......we feel for you in regard to the snow.....we had to put up with all the snow in the winter of 2008-2009.....95 inches worth!
So, here is what we do:

Fantastic Pictures! I love the quilt!
Dee, you make such beautiful quilts. Truly a lovely talent.....I don't have that gene. I love the pictures of the boys. Earl, to me, is just striking!
Lovely quilt Dee, whats next.........................
Sargie remember you once were like Earl, young and silly, and thank goodness you have duggie to take some of the heat of you. Looks like you are well looked after in the blankie stakes.
Giant mower season will be starting soon so that will give him something to do
Roberta
ps Tell mum I'll send Amy and the two of them can be pests together. Since she has been better she seems to think I'm her door opener, so to-day i spent half the afternoon with her demanding in or out so she could lizard hunting
Hi Roberta.....This bunny quilt was a class that I took...hence the bunnies. I have two lap size quilts to complete and some Strata Star Table Toppers. I am also going to do the Caterpillar quilt that you sent to me. That one will be special since it is from you. I wanted to get back into the groove of quilt making before I started it.
The boys are doing good but Earl is so full of energy. He is on the go from the minute he gets up until he goes to bed minus the naps in between. He tires me out just watching him! They do have us trained well!
Beautiful pictures of the babies...the quilt is gorgeous! I bet Auntie Karen will love your quilt
Awesome pictures !!! Love the quilt and SMOOCHIES  to the cuddy boyz !
Here are some pics of the latest quilts and Strata Star Table Toppers.....the two quilts went to DeeDee and Princess Hallie.

Beutiful quilts!! Are you taking orders for the bunny quilt or the doxie quilt?? One of these days, I'll have time to start quilting. Hopefully when school is over I can make that my weekend hobby.
Beautiful Pictures!!! :hello2:
Very good pictures and beautiful quilt. What a talent you have, Dee! I guess that's what happens when you have that name!!!! They are all very good lookin' furkids!
Dee i have just started quilting (i made one in high school but without a pattern just sewing scraps together) and i have been searching EVERYwhere for dachshund prints! Where did you get yours? And which patterns do you use?
What a talent these are amazing! That looks like tons of work Dee. You keep getting better and better too. I love the fabrics you choose! Hallie and I LOVE ours I just got the battery for the camera back and took some pics will post in a second...
Love the star's dee, I may have to have a go at one of those. All I've been trying to do to-day is take photos of three of mine to submit for the guild exhibition, I ususally do it outside and stand on a stool or ladder, this time I don't want helpers................which I got plus the wind has got up and wish I could use the balast on the edges.
Roberta
Yes Auntie dee we wus told where to go, but it was fun watching her running down hill to retrieve them heheheh

I have found the dachshund fabric at Hancock or Joann Fabrics----the majority of the dachshund fabrics that I have found are M'Liss brands (she has dachshunds)! The fabric for the backing of Hallie's quilt....I bought the bolt of fabric (there was about 6 yards left on it), I like it so much! I have found other dachshund shapes on fabric at these stores and on online also. The patterns I have used are Turning Twenty, Orchard Lane, Building Blocks and Buggy Barn Crazy Quilt patterns plus my own patterns. I have some new patterns that I want to make up eventually. I'm starting to get into the more intricate patterns as I am feeling more comfortable getting back into the swing of quilting......I was away from it for a number of years but with retirement, I have a lot of time now.

Isn't it the truth with our helpers! I tried to take a picture the other day of another Strata Star that I made and my three were sleeping soundly......well they must have heard the fabric move, because at the blink of an eye, all three were right there!
