I'm kinda worried about my mama. She wentsis cwazy today. Firstest, she and daddy moveded all da furniture outta da bedroom. :dontknow: Dey did dis before when da smelly mens came and made lots of noise in dere. Mama sez I bedda tell you dey were inspectin da fwoor. Den todays, dey came agin!!!! :crazyeyes: Onwy dis time dey made lots more noise and stayed all day!!!!! Mama pickeded me up in da afternoon, puts my swedda on and sez, "We're going for a walk Mr." Den she makes me walk in 14 inches of snow out to da middle of a field and just scweams. Den she sez, "Okay, let's go home." What?! :dontknow: Was I apposed to understand da point of dat?!
Den da guy telled mama and daddy dat dey were coming back all day tomorrow too. I fought mama was gonna explode wight dere. :2funny: Da landlord told us it would take 2-3 hours at most for da job!! She muttered somefing about a motel, and getting behind in her studies. Den daddy calleded da landlord and she said no motel, and to just "deal with it." :BangHead: Soz wez gonna hab anodder sneezy day tomorrow. I had fun barking at dose guys, but dey eben wore me out!!!
Da guy eben said da carpet had mold on it and da landlady is making him put it back on because she is too cheap to replace it. :cussing: No wonder me and mama hab had allergy pwoblems. Mama sez wif da luck we've had at finding lanlords, wez should buy a lottery ticket. Maybe we'd be zillionaires then? :dontknow:
Da worstest part was I had to be in my kennel all day so I was "safe". HMMPH!!! I'll bark more tomorrow. :thumb:

There MAY be laws about putting carpet back down over where mold was know you all get along with your land lord but I think I would call the Health Dept. and ask about it some mold are very,very dangerous and since Porky is low to the floor that maybe why he is being so sick Porky may have an attack one day he might not recover from since his breathing problems have increased.I would think there would be some kind of law against putting that carpet back down.? The best person to report the landlord is the person she told to put the carpet back down. That keeps you out of it, and he is the one she is giving the order to. If he is licensed, he should refuse to do it, because then he is responsible for any damage coming from it, too. Just a thought...
i agree the people cleaning the mold should report the land lord to the health department or someone and refuse to put the carpet back down since you are getting ill along with Porky if something were to happen God Forbid your husband should SUE the pants off of everyone in voled .Don't scream in the field just talk loud enough for the workmen to hear you talking about it you & your husband.They might not put the carpet back down make sure you ask for names and the name of the company they work for remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease.We all have to be squeaky wheels now days or management will run over us all.Hang in there Good luck.
:scratch: Exactly what is it that the "Moldy Guys" are doing? If they've taken up the carpet, why can't they just leave it rolled up and store it somewhere?
It seems counter-intuitive (read: stupid :verdict:) to clean up the mold and then put back the mold, in the form of the carpet. Is anyone thinking there? It's clear the landlady isn't. Maybe you can talk to her about just storing the carpet until you move. :dontknow:

We got new carpet!!! :apls: Well not exactly new, but remnant carpet that does not have mold. Now I just hope they get done quickly and let us have our house back. :pray:
