We have two young girls living next door and Danni goes to the fence every day when let out to look for them, but not until today did she finally meet them. It was so cute Danni ran outside and down the ramp to the fence and stood silently watching the girls build a snow person. Finally they noticed her and one of the girls knelt down by the fence and held out her hand for Danni to sniff. That completed Danni got very excited and started to run up and down the walk, but she didn't bark, she only wanted to play. The other girl soon joined her sister and Danni was in heaven, giving finger kisses. When the girls went back to their building Danni sat in the snow for a long time watching them(it wasn't cold out) until I called her in.
She was so calm and patient with the girls and it was cute to see her so happy meeting people and remaining somewhat calm. Hopefully Danni will meet more people and be a social butterfly so to speak.
Maybe you can have a little playdate with your new friends, Danni. Sounds like fun!
