We have been hoping to find someone who has to board their horse, and is sick and tired of it, especially with the winter and short days coming on. Well, we got a phone call from a gal who lives in Eagle River and boards her horse at a stable in Wasilla, about 25 miles away. She is very excited about our place with its small barn and large corral. I told her about the trails nearby and offered to show them to her should she move. She was also excited about the fact that we were moving only one mile away, and that there are horse people two doors down. She has seen pictures of our place online at FSBO, and is going to do a drive-by today or tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that she remains interested enough to set up a time to see the inside of the house this weekend.
