Her name is Gianna and I metted her at the wienerdog meetup on Sunday. She is prolly about 5 years old and she's a HOOOOMAN! Gianna weally liked me and I even letted her pet me and even pick me up. She liked me cuz I'm a wittle ol wady and she likes the gway puppers. I was very nice to my new fwend and hope to see her again weel soon.

It was the sweetest thing. Maddie, who normally isn't real fond of other big people really took to this little girl, who was very gentle and sweet with Maddie. Apparently she had just had to have her doggie (a black Lab, I think) PTS and she liked Maddie because Maddie looked like her dog in the face with all the gray. She and her sister (another little cutie but a little older) and Mom were there to maybe adopt one of Stacey's rescue dachsies. I think whoever is the pupper who is picked will have a very nice home.
That sounds a nice meet up, do you have more chance Maddie to play with them and the incoming dog?
Dogs know. All the puppers I have owned seem to be able to pick up on kids who just seem to have some natural gift with animals. Even dogs that tend to be very unsure and wary of other hoomans relax themselves when they are in the presence of a "dog person". It's really quite remarkable when that happens.
