My mom just completed her first week of radiation, and it went real well. She is staying with my sister Barb in Scottsdale, to be near the Mayo Clinic. My sister Mary is there helping. In another week my sister Joan will take over for Mary. Then I will take over for Joan around the third week of March. That is about the time my mom will have surgery.
Here's my favorite photo of my folks.

That´s a really lovely picture of your parents, Patty, thanks for sharing it. We´re glad the radiation went well and your Mum has at least one of you with her for support. I know how hard it is to be far away when times are rough and understand how you are both feeling. We´ll keep rooting for you, praying and sending those healing dachsie rays too. Take care of yourself too and get your strength up for your desert trip in March.
Glad to hear things are going as well as they can be going. Rays going her way, for sure.
