Title: Nana´s snowy garden and Islay playing snow-Princess, picture evidence
Post by: Spanish Teckels on January 12, 2010, 07:18:20 AM
I´m going to try and claim on my dachsie holiday insurance and am gathering all the picture evidence I can.  This IS NOT suitable weather for dachsies, especially not Mediterranean ones.
Red.

Gorgeous pictures - but sorry your warm-blooded Mediterannean dachsies have to deal with the snow!  Did you find out how far Nana's is from Gail?  Since I met her when she was in Oregon and Washington, I thought I'd ask...

We´re not made for this stuff, I´ll tell you.  Nana´s is about two hours from Gail taking the motorway over the Pennine mountains- normally - but we can´t even get out of our village to a main road as yet....reckon we´ll be here for WEEKS more.  We´d love to see Gail & crew sometime.

I heard snow baths are good for your coat but hard to do one with a human dog coat on too, of course in our doggie minds even better if it is yellow snow of another critter. That way us hunting dogs can sneak up on prey better. You know for some reason the humans do not like it they do not think like we do anyone else's humans think like that.?
