we´ll be MIA for about three weeks as we intrepidly cross the snowy Pyrenees, drive all the way up France and then England all the way to our Nana´s in Scotland - and back again.
Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy New Year to all our pals, we´ll have a wee dram and dance a Gay Gordon for you all at Hogmanay (translation: we´ll drink to your health and dance a Scots dance for you at New Year). After 10 years marrigae, Mum still hasn´t managed to get Dad into a kilt for the occasion, maybe this will be the year...Dad is tall and Mum´s Uncles are small, their kilts are indecently short for Dad to wear.
See you all again in January,
hasta la vista

:apls: :apls: How exciting!!! Have a wonderful time and enjoy visiting your family....and have a SAFE TRIP!!
Have a safe trip!!! We hope you have a great time with your family.
WOW! When you guys travel, you travel! Drive safe and have fun. Good luck getting Miguel in a kilt!!! Ron has worn one to Rennaisance Faires. I still can't believe he did it, but he did!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. I guess this means you're missing the Three Kings Day in Spain? As I recall, it's celebrated more than Christmas over there. Is it called El Dia de Los Reyes Magos?
Have a great trip and drive safely. Can't wait to hear all about your great adventures when you return. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Hilde and Me.

The kilt will be difficult...we´d love to see Ron in his!
We´ll be leaving the UK around the 14th Jan so will miss the Reyes Magos and will spend Miguel´s 56th birthday on the 9th January in the UK too, for a change. It´s such a long trip, we thought we´d make it worth going.
Love to you all.
Maybe Father Christmas could bring him a Utili-Kilt. It has pockets and is a wash and wear heavy twill.
Merry Christmas have a safe trip enjoy yourselves.

We have never heard of that one, sounds a great idea!
Finally made it here - too late for Christmas - terrible ice and snow and fog on the way...love to you and Cliffie. We´re keeping warm with shortbread and Whisky.....
