CORN-MACARONI CASSEROLE
1 can (14.75 oz.) creamed corn
1 can (11.15 oz.) whole kernal corn, drained
1 cup macaroni, uncooked
1/4 cup butter, melted
8 ounces cubed processed cheese (Velveeta or American)***
Mix together creamed corn, whole kernal corn, UNCOOKED macaroni, butter and cheese.
Place in a buttered casserole dish and cover with foil.
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Uncover, stir and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
Remove from oven, let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
This is yummy.
Note: This very easy to assemble, just melt the butter in your glass or ceramic baking dish in the microwave, add all the other ingredients and mix together. Perfect for people who work, you can assemble in the morning and pop it in the oven when you get home.
***Any cheese you have on hand would probably work. I used extra sharp cheddar and aside from the cheese being a little oily the casserole still turned out great.
That sounds like what my Dad made;but he used spaghetti noodles I think!

ooooooooh, I think with spaghetti it would be very good. Different types of pastas give a lot of standard recipes a new feel and taste. I will have to try that.
